Portfolio plan – holiday memories

Spring is here! And I’m very excited! I’ve been busy planning for wedding photos, my fall vacation and expanding my portrait portfolio.

I am really looking forward to visiting Europe, and especially Roma (for the very first time!!), travel photography is always exciting and new, even in a city I’ve visited before. I thought I would include some of my fav travel picks from my last few holidays – reminds me of how much I love Europe and how I want to get back there.

Getting back to what else is in the plans, I was really inspired by a story I read recently in a photography magazine about a photographer that recruited models on Facebook to refresh his portrait portfolio which sounded like a really fun project so I’ve decided that I want to do the same thing in June.

Here are some cupcakes I made on the weekend, for a party I sadly was unable to attend, but I thought they were cute and was happy that some of them got eaten. I was surprised that the cake started melting slightly, I guess from the heat on Saturday.

And I enjoyed having some time to mello at the farm on Friday which really helped me to relax to start the weekend.
So next weekend is the first wedding I will be shooting for the season and I’m very excited to get started and will be finishing prepping my equipment this week. Cheers!
