Last week I had to opportunity to do some photos for an event at the NAC. I was really excited about the chance to do some photography for the afternoon of a beautiful day. It was a really wonderful event complete with a RCMP officer singing O Canada and traditional First Nations singers opening the event and singing while dancers danced.

As always the NAC put on a beautiful buffet of food.

The food was excellent and I enjoyed the fine details of turning this tent into a cool space – like the draped curtains and chandeliers from the ceiling.

 The flowers were summery and fresh. It was a wonderful event and I was so happy to have participated by taking photos.
