Holga Happiness!
In preparation for Holgapalooza I’ve been trying to shoot more with my holga and today I got back the results – here is a taste of the new images. I was really happy with the results and the quality of these images. Here is one of Ottawa from the Chaudiere bridge.
Some of these photos are pretty old and included my mask test roll. I got a few interesting shots. I like this graffiti sign a great deal.
This is Lily in a snow storm.
This is the beaver I saw in the spring – I really like this one!
Here are the train tracks near my office – I liked the graffiti on the tracks. It looked pretty cool. The soft edges of the photos and the slightly darkened corners turned out really well with the black and white.
Here is a photo I took in the spring at a cottage.
Here is the graffiti wall as seen through a holga.
Here is a door on an abandoned building I walk past sometimes.
Overall, I was really happy with the rolls of film I got back. I think that I’m getting more accurate at taking photos that are composed the way I want and also in focus. I love my holga! Holgapalooza here I come!
