Saskatoon
So I went to Saskatoon for work and while I was there I enjoyed a yummy dinner at a restaurant, the Bar King Frog, recommended by a friend. My friend and I enjoyed “The Met” which was olives, red pepper, feta cheese, hummus and roasted garlic with bagette (sorry forgot to take a picture) and then I had a grilled veggie salad with rosemary dressing – it was delicious and had artichoke, asparagus and pepper.
My friend enjoyed mango glazed chicken with peppers and asparagus and rice. She said it was very enjoyable.
For dessert we both enjoyed a fruit crisp with vanilla whip cream – I think we easily could have shared but it was very yummy!
I didn’t really get to go out at night but I did take a few photos from my hotel.
It was a quick trip but I was happy we were able to get out and go for dinner and see a little bit of downtown.
The weather was beautiful on the flight back although we did have some turbulence. Per usual I sat in the aisle but I did take a few pics from the window. It’s a busy week and weekend and then the art show starts on Tuesday! Can’t wait!!
