Rome at Night
On our third night in Rome we were back over by the Spanish Steps and did a little night walking tour of the area.
A vintage Fiat 500 – we saw several.
After walking to the Spanish Steps we walked over to the Trevi Fountain which was really beautiful and still very busy!
We found a little gelato place that is said to be the best in the city – I would have to agree! Delicious! I had lemon and pear, my husband got lemon (their signature) and hazelnut and my mum got fig and lemoncello. They were all excellent!
There were guys roasting chestnuts on many corners.
There were always people out walking at the Spanish Steps even much later in the evening. It is a really fun area of Roma!
