2010: Off and running
So my New Year started off and running! I’ve got lots of projects on the go and I’m really excited about them.
This past weekend I had the opportunity to make some flowers for an event – corsages and boutonnieres. It was fun working with flowers again and I was really happy with the results (Wordless Wednesday this week).
I’ve also been working on a photography/writing project which hopefully I can talk more about soon – so stay tuned.
My Mum and I got to go and see Mammia Mia! at the National Art Centre (as part of a Christmas gift from my husband) – it was an excellent way to start the New Year and in the 6th row we were able to see every facial expression and were really impressed with the show. We had gone together in 2000 (how the time flies) and prefered the cast from this show.
With all this snowy weather I’ve been spending a lot of time indoors – this happy looking fellow really seemed to be liking the cold and snow.
This week I’m working on 2 celebration cakes which is great and I’m looking forward to doing my first 2 cakes of 2010!
Cheers!
