Day 09 – A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

December 22nd, 2010

Okay, so maybe it’s not Lily but the people who get me through…they know who they are!

Day 08 – A picture that makes you laugh

December 21st, 2010

Day 07 – A picture of your most treasured item

December 20th, 2010

This one was maybe the most difficult so far – I would have to say that all my photos are my most treasured item – all my memories of holidays, friends and families, events…I love them all!

Day 05 – A picture of your favourite memory

December 18th, 2010

I’m not sure how exactly you choose one favourite memory but this is definitely a recent highlight. Getting to interact with the deer on Miyajima was amazing.

But I also have lots of happy memories of sleep-overs with HM as children, nights out with LP and lounging at home with Lily and Hof.

Day 02 – A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

December 15th, 2010

I have known my bestie since 1981 – so a pretty long time! We grew up together, we went to camp, dances, Canada day and all kinds of other activities together and through it all she was my best-friend. I went on my first solo transcontinental trip to visit her when she was living in Ireland. Even though we live in different cities now whenever we get together I feel like I’m with more than just a friend, a sister. Speaking of sisters – I am blessed to have so many sisters to go with my friends who feel like sisters. Without these ladies I don’t know what I would do! xo

The trip of a lifetime!

November 29th, 2010

So it’s been over a month since my last posting – thanks for the emails and messages of concern, I am alright but I took a holiday, the trip of a lifetime to Japan and decided that while I was gone it was going to be a real holiday, no blogging; just traveling and enjoying every minute.
I am back now and recovering from the 14 hour time change and preparing to start blogging again with stories and photos from Japan. It was amazing – like no where else I’ve ever been and I look forward to sharing it with you!
Cheers!
