It’s hard to believe that 2009 is over and 2010 is beginning! It feels like just yesterday I was backing up my files in fear that Y2K would ruin my life…Oh, how far we’ve come! I am definitely excited for some new projects and work ahead for me in 2010 (pronounced twenty-ten) – let’s get this party started!

This morning was very exciting because the Olympic Torch relay was passing through Orleans. We woke up early and made it just in time to see the torch as it passed by.

We were fortune and were able to park our car on the other side of the street for a quick exit after the rolling convoy passed.

For those of you who don’t know. I love the olympics. I used to watch the winter olympics with my mum and sister every time they came around. I loved following the athletes, cheering for Canada and, yes, crying during the opening ceremony. Although we also watched the summer olympics – the winter olympics were our favorite, especially the skating. Read the rest of this entry »
