Ikimono results

August 14th, 2009

For Christmas my sister got me a really cute toy camera

bee-alone-ikimono

It takes 110 film and basically is a point and shoot – zero options but is totally cute and fits almost anywhere!

I did a test roll and then forgot that I never picked them up and fortunately got a call on Tuesday and went to get them. Lily ikimono

Of course, I always have to get a picture of Lily on my first roll – this image is super grainy (still no printer or scanner at home so these are pictures of pictures) but at least the color quality was pretty good.

Photography Love

July 27th, 2009

Growing up I was surrounded by cameras and photographers. I joke sometimes that there is a picture for everyday of my life growing up – but really every important event in my life is recorded by photographs. My mum, more recently, has been making us special books of photos she has taken from the time we were born until now – birthdays, vacations, Christmas etc…they hold precious memories of our family, family members past and present and love.
