Last week I had to opportunity to do some photos for an event at the NAC. I was really excited about the chance to do some photography for the afternoon of a beautiful day. It was a really wonderful event complete with a RCMP officer singing O Canada and traditional First Nations singers opening the event and singing while dancers danced.

So tonight I worked on framing some photographs. I had a bunch of photographs printed – holga prints, spring photos for about the house and some of the prints I want to put in the show I’m going to have some work in later this month. (The photos on the right piled up). I also have more that I want to get hard-mounted but didn’t drop off yet.
It was really fun and I definitely want to get some more images printed and framed!

This weekend I went to So You Think You Can Dance Canada with a friend and her family. It was her daughters first concert – which is always exciting. We were sitting in the 7th row so we had an amazing view. I was happy because it’s always easier to get good concert photos when you are close and having to use a P&S camera. Today was a very interesting day because it was really cold out but also very foggy. On my walk to my french class, another student and I noticed that all the trees were covered in snowy/ice and looked really beautiful. I took some photos and thought I would share them with you.
