This coffee run wasn’t your average trip over to Bridgehead for a green tea latte but was a well organized cruise with Ottawa Porsche enthusiasts. The organizers map a route, no passing each other, one stop along the way for coffee and then we drove to a predetermined restaurant for brunch (this time in Westport) and then we made our way back.

It was a very relaxing morning and nice to be out when it was a bit overcast but not raining.

It was great to see older Porsches, newer Porsches. Fast Porsches, faster Porsches.

Several times the clouds cleared and the sky was a nice blue.

Once in Westport everyone found a parking spot and then we went to the Westport Inn for brunch. Locals were wondering what was with the influx of Porsches.

Unfortunately, the skies did open on the way home and we broke rank at the break to beetle home. All in all, it was a lot of fun and we definitely look forward to the next coffee run.

Today was a beautiful day, the perfect day for a drive to get the car blessed. I read about this in last week’s bulletin and thought if the weather was nice I would suggest it to my husband. When we arrived they had been blessing cars for about 45 minutes and already had done 20 cars. This is Father Darrell blessing a porsche.

This car is all blessed and ready to go!

Every driver also received a blessing and a prayer card. All the cars had a healthy amount of Holy water for their blessing – it was great to see leisure cars and work cars alike out for a Sunday drive.
